Rivaldo Moonsamy - South Africa - Batsman

The next batting sensation as per the domestic circuit - Rivaldo Moonsamy. A right-handed batsman who made his first class debut as a teenager. Northerns was the side that saw the potential in Moonsamy and signed him up for the 2015 season. Since then he has remained with the first-class side and has got regular opportunities.

Moonsamy is also a wicket-keeper and very much in the mold of Quinton de Kock, at least his strike rate suggests that. In the handful of domestic games that he has played, Moonsamy has scored over 1000 runs, which include four hundreds in first class and List A. The average is also in excess of 50 in the longer format.

He has been in and around the academy squad and it will not be long before he knocks on the A sides. Moonsamy will be looking forward for the Global T20 League, where he has a platform to express himself, Benoni Zalmi are the franchise that have invested in the youngster.
