West Indies
Keacy Carty is the first cricketer from the island of St Marteen to represent West Indies. He made his debut against Netherlands in 2022, where he scored 43* to help his side win in a tricky chase. Carty was also part of the 2023 West Indies squad for the World Cup qualifiers, playing in a handful of games out there. In December 2023, Carty scored his maiden ODI fifty that proved to be a match winning knock against England. Keacy Carty is also an U19 World Cup winner for West Indies, and returned home to his native island of St Marteen as a hero back then, received by the country’s Prime Minister and Governer.
