West Indies
A combination of Marlon Samuels' footwork and Carl Hooper's hand-eye co-ordination, Kyle Hope, the older sibling of Shai Hope, hasn't had it very easy at the top so far and continues his bid to make an impression.
Hope had a fantastic 2016-17 domestic season with Trinidad and Tobago, and ended up second in the list of leading run makers. He had started his career with Barbados, but found very little success across four seasons and had to switch to T&T to revive his domestic career.
He was drafted into the national side for the ODI series against India at home and made his debut at North Sound in June 2017. A couple of knocks during that series helped him earn a place in the Test side, with him debuting against England at Edgbaston in August 2017.
