Profile

One of the brightest fast bowling prospects from Tamil Nadu, Krishnamoorthy Vignesh is a right-arm pacer known for his nagging accuracy and control. Vignesh shot to fame in the first season of TNPL in 2016. He was the joint-third in the wicket-taker's list and since then, there was no looking back for the pacer.

Vignesh went onto train at the MRF pace academy and Australian legend showered praises on his control. He was even offered a ticket to Brisbane to be part of the exchange programme but he declined the request owing to play in TNPL season 2. In his debut Ranji season, Vignesh picked up 37 wickets and was also included in the RoI squad for the Irani Trophy. Injuries threatened to derail his career as the pacer was ruled out for a few months in 2017 before finally returning to action in 2018.
