Profile

A part of the Pakistan U19 World Cup squad in 2018, it was the PSL that shot Muhammad Musa to the limelight. The pacer shone bright in the 2019 season for Islamabad United, bowling at high speeds and showing immense composure for a teenager. He ended up with eight scalps at an acceptable average and decent economy but more than the stats, it was Musa's temperament that impressed one and all. At the First-class level, he is still very raw but the obvious exposure via PSL means that he does have some confidence under his belt. Musa was a surprise pick for Pakistan's tour of Australia in late 2019, as he landed up a spot in the Test and T20 squads. While he is comparatively more experienced in the shortest format, Musa is definitely too raw for Test cricket. However, the signs till now are encouraging and Islamabad-born fast bowler has it in him to do great things in the future.
