New Zealand
Right arm pacer and a lower order batsman, Rajvinder Sandhu has played for the Eden Roskil club in New Zealand. As he was a regular performer for the club, he managed to catch quite a few eye balls and was drifted into the Auckland side consequently. Sandu played for the Aces in 2017 and on the back of few striking performances he earned a full time contract with them.
Known for his medium fast bowling, Sandhu was involved in a record 139-run partnership for the 10th wicket along with Mitchell McClenaghan against the Northern Districts in 2017. The southpaw scored 82 and bagged a 4-wicket haul in that Plunket Shield match and as a result of his precious contribution Auckland managed to beat the Northern Districts by 71 runs. Though he earned a contract with Auckland in 2017, Sandhu wasn’t a part of the playing XI for majority of 2018 due to the surfacing of other pacers in the team.
