Abhishek Gupta - India - WK-Batsman

With a high score of 202 in first-class cricket, Abhishek Gupta is wicket-keeper/ batsman who hails from Jalandhar, Punjab. His much awaited first-class debut came when he was 27 against Himachal Pradesh in October 2017 but it was a really tiresome debut as he had to keep nearly 150 overs in the first innings. Himachal Pradesh posted a mammoth score of 729/8 in the first innings to which Punjab replied with a Herculean total of 601. And this man played his best-ever innings only on his debut (a knock of 202 that consisted of 24 boundaries and 5 massive sixes).

However, since his debut, Gupta hasn't been able to get into the three-digits with mere two 50-plus scores to his name. A player, who showed so much promise in his first match, should've accomplished a lot more, but that's how things work in cricket. You need to keep working hard and keep moving ahead, without being complacent. Gupta has an experience of only a year or two in first-class cricket. If Abhishek works on his game harder, he might be able to get his Mojo back in days to come.
