Profile

Khary Pierre, as his name suggests, is a cricketer of French origin who plays in the Caribbean first-class circuit. He is a slow left-arm bowler and a capable lower-order batsman. Still raw but undeniably talented, Pierre made his first-class debut in December 2016 for Trinidad and Tobago and has been a regular part of the playing XI since then.

The left-hander was also roped in by Trinbago Knight Riders for CPL 2017. In a star-studded line-up Pierre lacked the opportunities and his exploits in the tournament were not too flattering as he picked up only 4 wickets in 6 games. He was also picked up by Cricket Windies B, for the inaugural Canada Global T20 League in 2018.

In 2018, he started getting picked more consistently in the Caribbean Premier league, and started to pay dividends. A quick and safe fielder, and a teasingly penetrative bowler, he grabbed his opportunities and slowly became a regular part of a potent team. His breakthrough performance came in the final of the 2018 CPL, as he picked up three crucial wickets in the final to earn himself the man of the match award.
