Profile

Gajanand Singh is a left-handed middle order batsman. He represented Windies in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. In two years time, he made his first-class debut for Guyana. He has failed to make an impression in the first-class cricket as he averages a meager 25 in the ten matches that he played.

Nine years after making his first-class debut, Guyana Amazon Warriors signed Gajanand for the 2017 CPL season which came as a bit of a surprise. Again, he failed to live up to the expectations required and soon lost his place from the Guyana team. His most valuable performance came against Trinbago Knight Riders when he made a quickfire 39 to steer his team to a decent score of 159. He remains a part of the 2018 squad of the Guyana Amazon Warriors but is yet to feature in a match.
