Jack Edwards

Australia

Profile

As an 18-year-old right-handed opening batsman, Jack Edwards caught the attention of one and all by becoming the youngest cricketer to score a century in Australian 50-over domestic cricket. He represents New South Wales and his eye-catching knock came against Queensland when his team were in a spot of bother while chasing 300.

He impressed at the under-17 championship and then played some crucial innings for Cricket Australia at the under-19 level. He is touted as a technically sound batsman who is naturally a good timer of the cricket ball. He plays for the Sydney Sixers in the BBL.

Jack's excellent performance at such a young age has made him a contender to be a part of the Australian team in future. He was also a part of the Australian under-19 team in the 2018 under-19 World Cup.
