Mackenzie Harvey is a hard-hitting left-handed batsman who was drafted in by the Melbourne Renegades as a replacement player for Aaron Finch for 2017-18 Big Bash season. He made his List-A debut for Victoria in the 2018/19 JLT One-Day Cup. He also captained Australia in the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Mackenzie is nephew of former Australian cricketer, Ian Harvey. He was picked to represent Cricket Australia against England and Mackenzie made full use of it by scoring a quickfire 59 off just 48 balls.
