Profile

Having played for the Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club, Jamie Brown is a relatively new player in the Auckland Aces squad. The right arm speedster made his first-class debut for Auckland against the Northern Districts in March 2018. While his List-A debut came only two months before his first-class debut against the Central Districts. His first match against the Northern districts was a decent one as the pacer bagged two wickets in each of the innings; Auckland won the match by a massive margin of 140 runs.

However, Jamie's maiden List-A game wasn't that memorable. Though he bagged two top-order wickets, Auckland lost that 50-over contest by a margin of 123 runs against Central Districts. Known for his fatal bouncer, Brown is a skiddy and quick customer who has the ability to get best of the batsmen into trouble. He has the skill to rattle batsmen with his short pitch deliveries and it would be interesting to see how well he contributes while playing for the Auckland Aces in near future.
