Fahad Alhashmi is a right-arm fast-medium bowler from UAE. Alhashmi, made his ODI debut against Bangladesh during the Asia Cup in 2008. He first represented UAE in the 2005 ICC Intercontinental Cup semi-final against Ireland. He also played for UAE in matches against English county sides Essex, Lancashire and Yorkshire in March 2008.

After a string of poor performances, Alhashmi was out of the team for a long time before he made a comeback against Afghanistan in December 2014. He was impressive with the ball, picking up two wickets in each of the two games he played in.

Due to his impressive show against the Afghanistan national side, he was selected for the 2015 World Cup squad as well.
