Simarjeet Singh - India - Bowler

One of the newest entrants in Delhi's domestic side, Simarjeet Singh is a right-arm pacer. Simarjeet's Ranji debut came against Hyderabad in November 2018, but it wasn't a great outing as the 20-year old managed to take only one wicket in the 35 overs he bowled in the match. Although the start wasn't as impressive, he made strides and became a regular member of the Delhi domestic side. Soon he served as a net bowler for IPL team Delhi Capitals, where he made heads turn with his skiddy pace. The right-arm quick, who can clock 140kph, also travelled with the Indian team as a net bowler on the tour of Sri Lanka in July, 2021. At the 2022 IPL Mega Auction, Chennai Super Kings bought him for the base price of 20 lakh and handed him his maiden IPL contract.
