Pakistan
Abbas Afridi announced his arrival at the international arena with an impressive three-wicket haul on his T20I debut. On a good batting surface, where most of the bowlers proved to be expensive, Afridi proved to be economical as he dismissed some well known New Zealand batters. Afridi used his variations to perfection and outfoxed the opposition batters on a surface where more than 220 runs were scored in 20 overs. Known to be a wicket-taker, the pacer has an impressive domestic record in the shortest format. He is in his early 20s and with the talent he possesses, Abbas can make it big at the highest level.
