Profile

Mwayenga is a right-arm fast bowler who was first spotted by Bill Flower, father of Andy and Grant. He got Mwayenga a scholarship at Vainona High School and later in St John's. Mwayenga played the U-19 World Cup in 2002, where he picked up a 5-wicket haul against Kenya. However, he found it difficult to replicate his junior level performance and had a poor start to his ODI and Test career. With not much pace and swing, he found the going tough in the international arena.

Mwayenga went on to play for Worcestershire second team in 2006.
