Pakistan
A correct right-handed opening batsman, Ghulam Ali aggregated close to 10,000 first-class runs to go with 5000+ List-A runs. A consistent performer at the domestic level, Ali was called up to the Pakistan ODI team in 1992 for the Sharjah ODI tournament but did not get the chance to play.
His ODI debut against West Indies in Cape Town was a nightmarish one with Pakistan crashing to 43 all-out, Ali eked out 2 runs. He was shown the door after that but he came back two years later for the Asia Cup but came up short again.
Though his international career never really took off, he continued to pile on the runs in domestic cricket.
