New Zealand
Phil Horne, the elder brother of Matt Horne, failed to make an impact on the international scene. He only played 4 Tests and 4 ODIs before being dumped. A left-handed opening batsman, Phil made his debut against West Indies in 1987. He came back in 1990 at Faisalabad but eked out just 12 runs including a duck in the first innings against Pakistan.
Phil Horne though was more successful at the domestic level, hitting 2800+ runs in first-class cricket to go with 752 runs in List-A matches.
Interesting fact: Phil Horne represented New Zealand in Badminton in the 1990 Commonwealth Games.
