New Zealand
A slow left-arm spinner, who bowled with a good loop, Mark Priest was the pivot around which the Canterbury bowling revolved in the 1990's. Priest captured 329 first-class wickets to go with 120 in List-A cricket. He was a failure on the international scene though.
Priest figured in just 3 Tests and 18 ODIs before drifting away. However, he continued to serve Canterbury with distinction until his retirement in 1999.
