Chris Drum

Chris Drum

New Zealand

Profile

A consistent pace bowler for Auckland, Chris Drum failed to gain a foothold at the international level. He represented New Zealand in 5 Tests and 5 ODIs apiece before retiring prematurely at the age of 27.

He enjoyed a good debut though becoming only the third bowler to take a wicket with his first legitimate ball in Test cricket. Notably, Drum was also a part of the New Zealand team, which won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in 1998.
