Profile

Born September 6, 1980, Westminster, London, Alex Loudon was a prolific player since his school days. He captained both the England U-15 and U-19 teams before making waves on the county scene. He was named in the English squad for the Pakistan tour in 2005 as a back up for Ashley Giles. However, he did not get a chance to prove himself.

The following year, he made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka, which sadly turned out to be his last international game too. He went wicket-less and run-less as Sri Lanka romped to an eight-wicket win.

Loudon continued to play county cricket until 2007 when injuries forced him to call it quits. Post retirement, he concentrated on pursuing a business career.
