Profile

A left arm chinaman bowler, Dave Mohammed earned his maiden call up to the West Indies national team after just 3 first class matches. But he had to wait for his debut till the South African tour in 2004. His maiden Test appearance was a mixed bag as he pocketed 3 wickets at the expense of 112 runs. He lent variety to the attack but there were plenty of question marks over his control. Soon after though he was replaced by Omari Banks, who showed signs of ticking the 'control' box.

In the wake of an impressive domestic season in 2006, Mohammed was back into the Test fold in addition to making his ODI debut. However, he struggled to replicate the domestic success onto the big stage. After his international career suffered an irrecoverable meltdown, Dave Mohammed hit the jackpot when he was a part of the Standord Superstars team which defeated England in the T20 encounter. He also did considerably well for T&T in the World T20 League in 2009.
