Born February 2, 1961, Christ Church, St Kitts, Joey Benjamin established himself as a force to reckon with, in the county circuit. After a stint with Warwickshire, he joined Surrey and mastered the art of outswing. However his international career was short-lived. He played a lone Test and 2 ODIs before being axed for good.
