Profile

An all-rounder, falling just above the decent category, Vince Wells represented Kent, Leicestershire and Durham in county cricket. He was not gifted but tried his best to make optimum use of his limited abilities. Wells was a surprise selection for ODI leg of the tour to Australia in 1999. He did well, taking 8 wickets in addition to producing some cameos lower down the order with the bat. He was in the England squad for the 1999 World Cup but did not get a game.

Wells retired from all forms of competitive cricket in 2003 to pursue a career related to business management.
