Profile

Another of those one Test wonders, Adil made his debut in 2003 against Bangladesh in the thrilling Test at Multan. Inzamam-Ul-Haq fought form and critics alike to battle his way to a face saving hundred ton for Pakistan as they won by a single wicket against the then Test minnows. Adil though managed 33 runs in the Test and was never again picked for Pakistan.

A product of the pre-T20 era, Adil was a solid middle order bat who made his first-class debut in 1996-97. His middling average of mid 30s never really justified his talent but after being picked for the tour to Bangladesh, Adil did get only one Test to showcase his mettle.

Even in first-class cricket he was ignored and he decided to hang his boots in 2009 owing to lack of opportunities at the domestic level. Interestingly in his last list-A game, Farhan scored a ton for Pak Customs to help them win a last over thriller against Faisalabad.
