West Indies
A left-arm chinaman bowler, Inshan Ali made spasmodic appearances for West Indies between 1971 and 1977. With the fast bowlers ruling the roost during that period, opportunities were ultra-limited for the spinners. Ali gained 34 wickets in 12 Test matches with his best figures of 5-59 coming against New Zealand in April 1972.
Inshan Ali's style of bowling was difficult to read at the domestic level, where he claimed 328 scalps.
