West Indies
A right arm pacer, Ian Allen, made his debut for West Indies in June 1991. Unfortunately, he has only played 2 Tests overall. The leviathan presence of Malcom Marshall, Patrick Patterson and Ian Bishop meant ultra-limited opportunities. Then Walsh and Ambrose happened with Allen failing to make a comeback to the international fold.
Post his retirement from all forms of competitive cricket, Allen shifted focus towards coaching.
