Andrew White - Ireland - Batting Allrounder

Profile

Andrew White is a solid all-rounder who hit a scintillating 152 on his first-class debut against Netherlands in 2004. Before that, he was a part of the Under-19 squad. He later made his international debut against England in 2006 in an one-off ODI. Batting at No. 7, he hit 40 off 43 balls but this cameo was not enough for Ireland to win the game.

Not only is White a capable batsman but also a handy spinner. White has played in two ICC Trophies in 2001 and 2005 and in 2005 was instrumental in helping Ireland reach the final. He was also part of the Irish squad for the 2007 and 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. However, he did not contribute significantly in both the tournaments. Since then, he has been in and out of the squad. He last played an ODI in September 2013.
