Profile

Born on July 1992, Raza Hasan, the orthodox left-arm, spinner, has been somewhat unfairly been cast as a specialist T20 bowler. In his brief international career, he has played 7 T20Is for Pakistan, but has been only a squad member for the rest of the tours.

Excellent form during his Under-19 days and a good Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand prompted the selectors to pick him for the ‘A’ series against England Lions in UAE.

Raza Hasan made his T20I debut for Pakistan against Australia in UAE in September, 2012. His performances were consistent and this earned him a spot in the squad for the 2012 T20 Cup. In a must win game against Australia, Hasan sizzled, finishing with impressive figures of 2/12 and earning Pakistan a place in the semi-finals.
