Jeremy Snape

England

Profile

A loopy right-arm off-spinner, who could chip in with the bat as well, Jeremy Snape was handed his ODI debut nearly a decade after his first-class debut. Snape though enjoyed a sweet debut - he scalped 2 wickets and 2 catches to win the Man of the Match award. He figured in 9 more ODIs over the next year before being dropped. He had to wait about 5 years for a recall when he was picked for the inaugural version of the T20 World Cup in South Africa in 2007. With his career coinciding with that of Ashely Giles, opportunities were very few and far between.

Snape has a Masters in Sports Psychology and has worked with a number of cricket teams after announcing his retirement.
