Australia
A very talented right-handed top-order batsman, Peter Forrest is one of Australia's bright young talents that is set to take the country forward. He made his first-class debut for New South Wales against Queensland in 2007 before getting a taste of the other formats.
With an impressive domestic record, the Australian selectors named him in the squad for the tri-series involving hosts Australia, India and Sri Lanka. He eventually made his ODI debut against India at Adelaide and scored a fine fifty. He continued his good run in the series and scored a hundred in just his 4th game against Sri Lanka to grabbed eyeballs.
The selectors gave him a ticket to go to West Indies and England later on but his form dipped and was soon out of the side. Though not a swashbuckling batsman, he was bought by the Brisbane Heat in 2012 for the Big Bash League and continues to play for them.
