Profile

Adelaide born Steven Crook started off as a medium fast bowler and a lower order batsman and made his first-class debut for Lancashire in 2003. But he could never make a mark for the Red Roses and was transferred on loan to Northamptonshire in 2005 and stayed their permanently till 2009 when music took him away for a couple of years.

A lead singer for a band in England, Crook tried his luck but returned to his love for the game in 2011 and moved to Middlesex. But lesser chances at the championships meant he switched back to Northants in 2012. Upon his return, the all-rounder was Man of the Match in the finals of the 2013 Friends Life T20 competition and was also a vital member of the side that won the tournament again in 2016.
