Profile

A right-arm medium pacer, Michael Chinouya, made his first-class debut for Midlands in 2004. He has also represented Zimbabwe A as well as the Centrals. Chinouya has over 100 first-class wickets and has been a consistent domestic level player. Unfortunately, Chinouya has not got as many opportunities at the international level.

He was finally noticed in 2013 and was included in Zimbabwe's Test squad for their series against Bangladesh in 2013 but didn't get a chance in the playing eleven. Later the same year, he, however, made his ODI debut against India in July 2013. He had figures of 1/36 in his first game, a praiseworthy effort considering the strong Indian batting line-up.
