Bangladesh
Zakir Hasan is a promising left-handed batsman, who also occasionally keeps wickets. He plays for Sylhet Division and made his first-class in the National Cricket League in September 2015. He was picked for the 2016 U-19 World Cup that was held in Bangladesh. He was an integral part the team that finished third in the tournament. Batting at no. 5, he scored 75 off 77 balls and put on a 117-run stand with captain Mehedi Hasan that helped Bangladesh beat the Nepal Under-19s.
He made his T20 debut against Comilla Victorians representing Chittagong Vikings in the 2016 edition of Bangladesh Premier League. His top score was 9, but playing with the big names in the BPL would have been a great exposure for the southpaw. With age on his side and the fact that he can also keep wickets, the selectors would have an eye on this cricketer.
