Profile

Faizan Asif is a Pakistan-born left-handed opening batsman for the United Arab Emirates. He has also played for the ECB Blues and Emirates Islamic Bank Invitation XI. He made his List A debut in 2011 in a World Cricket League Championship game against Afghanistan. he scored 36 runs in that match. Less than a year later, he made his First class debut against Scotland in an Intercontinental Cup match. Surprisingly, that is the only first class game he has played so far.

Asif finally made his international debut for the UAE in the 2014 World T20. It was not a good start for his T20I career as he managed to put up only 18 runs in the 3 games that he played.
