Tamim Iqbal, Bangladesh skipper: The partnership Liton and Mushy created was amazing, though we did not finish well with the bat the bowlers did the job for us. The bowlers have been brilliant. Very important to win and get those points. When you play well make the most of it and win as many points.
Liton Das, Player of the Match: Playing one day after a long time and nothing changes in terms of approach for me. Enjoyed batting and the plan was to bat at least 30-35 overs and I batted with mindset which kept me going and helped me hunt the small targets I had in mind.
Hashmatullah Shahidi, Afghanistan skipper: We conceded a few too many in the early overs and then that partnership between Mushy and Liton took the game away from us. Wanted to restrict them under 260. We gave away too many extras and we will try to correct that in the next game.
19:06 local: Having lost 3 early wickets in a big chase, Afghanistan needed a Liton-Mushfiqur-esque partnership to get them close to the target and the pair of Rahmat Shah and Najibullah did offer a glimmer of a hope with a 89-run stand. The re-introduction of Taskin, however, dashed all the hopes as he removed both set batters in the space of five overs to derail the chase. After Najibullah's departure around the 30th over, the visitors lost their last five wickets for 67 runs and never recovered. Hang on for the post-match talk....
