That rounds up our coverage from the third T20I which Afghanistan have won fairly comfortably to keep the series alive. The fourth match is on Monday. We'll be back for it. For now, it's goodbye!
Nabi: Today we played as planned. Openers gave good partnership and we put a good total. Early wickets is more important to win the games. Put opposition teams under pressure. Much better we performed as a team today. We'll try our best on Monday.
Balbirine: To see the fight at the back end. When you lose 3-4 early wickets, you're up against it. With one short enough side we thought we could chase that. Needed a better start than we did. He seems to make things happen whether in the field, or with bat or ball (Fionn Hand). Has been knocking on the door a long time. He's in fantastic form (Dockrell). Has become an important batter for us in international cricket. He's going from strength to strength. Rest is important at this stage. Has been hot in Belfast.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Player of the Match: Was very important match for us. Really happy. Coach and captain were saying you have to take some time on the wicket. From long time I've opened with him (Zazai). He came and started well. I feel relaxed with him. As a cricketer you have to adapt to every condition. Wasn't easy for us to directly play matches.
19:00 Local Time, 18:00 GMT, 23:30 IST: A good show from Afghanistan today after losing the first two matches of the series. They were lacking in the batting department in those two defeats but put in a much better performance in this game. Asked to bat, Afghanistan were set on their way by a solid opening stand between Gurbaz and Zazai, before Ibrahim and Najibullah provided the flourish towards the end, taking them to 189. Ireland were then reduced to 65/6 in the chase. It was only thanks to an incredible fight from Dockrell and Hand that they got anywhere close. Let's hear from the presentations.
