That would be it for the evening. Zimbabwe have a lot of sort out, and they have a couple of days to try and do it. Until we see you then, with the same teams, same time, at the same venue, ta ta!!

Rahmat Shah | MoM: The wicket was not very good for batting in the initial overs. So the plan was go on till at least 35 overs because we have hitters in the team. That plan worked for us.

Hashmatullah Shahidi | Winning captain: It was a fantastic performance by the boys. The pitch was difficult in the morning and the ball was seaming. My partnership with Rahmat Shah was important and we told each other that we need to take it to the end as seniors. We'll try in the next match to improve our over-rate. Ten points were important for us.

Craig Ervine | Losing captain: I thought we started extremely well. But those two Afghanistan batsmen set the platform to reap the rewards at the end of the innings for them. We were excellent in patches but we struggled in the other patches. We have struggled in the past to put the entire package together. With the bat, we had a good partnership upfront but we lost wickets regularly. Unfortunately we had the tail batting at the end, and that was the difference.

17:12 Local Time, 15:12 GMT, 20:42 IST: This really was no contest. Zimbabwe batted out their entire quota of overs to get bowled out, but at no stage looked looked in control of this chase. 276 wasn't going to be easy, certainly not against the kind of spin that Afghanistan had at their disposal. And it pretty much went to script. Mohammad Nabi kept it extremely tight in the middle overs, constantly puncturing the chase with regular wickets. The only batsman who showed some fighting touch was Sikandar Raza, but Rashid Khan trapped him in the crease with a sharp googly, and that was pretty much it. It in fact could've been over a lot earlier had the fielders held on to their catches. Stick around, here come the presentations ..

Fareed Ahmad to Muzarabani, out Bowled!! The middle-stump's sent cartwheeling. Full, quick, you-miss-I-hit stuff. Muzarabani clears out his front leg and has a wild swing across the line. Nope, not even close to making connection. Muzarabani b Fareed Ahmad 10(11) [4s-1]
