That's all for today. Bangladesh will have to bounce back immediately if they are to keep the series alive. Until next time, it's goodbye from Sagar Chawla on behalf of Abhinand Raghavendran and our scorer Naga.
Rashid Khan, MoM: It was about keeping everything simple, what I've done in last two-three months. I don't have any specific plan. I keep it simple. Just to bowl little bit back of length, not too full. I'm just enjoying myself, that is the key thing. It was a good surface, ball was gripping, little bit dew was there. We have just played IPL. That's the biggest stage. If you perform well there, it gives you the confidence.
Stanikzai, Afghanistan captain: Every series the first game is very important. Today, our batsmen played very well. That was enough runs on this wicket. I know my bowlers. Which time they will be good to bowl. Conditions were good for us. Want to thank the crowd.
Harsha Bhogle: Afghanistan's seriously formidable spin trio of Rashid, Mujeeb and Nabi pick up 6-54 in 11 overs. They are as good a combination as any in the game now. Certainly in T20.
Shakib, Bangladesh captain: Generally we bowled well, except for the last four overs which cost us the match. Giving away those many runs was not ideal. We have lot to do. Need to sit down and look at the areas which we need to improve. They're a good side, and they outplayed us in all three departments. Overall we have so many areas which we need to look at. When you're chasing 170-odd runs, you need to bat well. Credit to them the way they bowled. They've got some quality spinners.
23:23 Local Time, 17:53 GMT, 23:23 IST: Another game turned on its head by Afghanistan's spin wizard. Bangladesh were in control at 80/3 at the halfway mark, before Rashid Khan was introduced. With his first ball, he made Mushfiqur Rahim pay for his ludicrous reverse-sweep. With his second, he bamboozled Sabbir Rahman with a googly, and that was it for Bangladesh who couldn't find it within them to recover. Of course, it was Afghanistan's late dash with the bat, plundering 52 runs in the last three overs, which allowed Stanikzai to hold Rashid back for the final ten overs and didn't allow Bangladesh the liberty to just play him off.
