Afghanistan won by 7 wkts
PLAYER OF THE MATCH : Rahmat Shah
Bowler
The trophy has been handed over to Stanikzai and the rest of the team join in as they pose for the cameras. It is another series win for Afghanistan. They have won five of their last seven bilateral series. That is some achievement. It is also their first series win against Ireland and they were clearly the superior side. That brings us to the end of our coverage. Until next time, goodbye and take care!
Stanikzai: In the last three months we have won two T20 series and two ODI series. The guys have played well throughout. It is a good sign for us, having Rahmat in good form. Shenwari played really well and should his seniority. We have a very important game (ICC Inter-Continental Cup) and it is a tough one against Ireland.
Porterfield: We were 20-30 short. We would have liked to post 250-260. Rahmat played an incredible knock and took them over the line. The series could have gone either way. We fought hard but Afghanistan were the better side today.
Rashid Khan, Best Bowler: I am really happy with the way the captain supported me. I am here for two months more. The pitches here support the spinners and I will do my best in the IPL as well.
Paul Stirling, Man of the Series and Best Batsman: It was nice to get a few runs. Today we were outplayed by Rahmat. It was a very good innings and Afgahnistan deserved to win the series. I like to come to the subcontinent and play on these tracks. They don't do much. A massive game (ICC Inter-Continental Cup) coming up for us and hopefully we will end on a high.
Rahmat Shah, Man of the Match: We just took our time. Asghar (Stanikzai) told me to take my time and keep the wickets intact. We put in a lot of hard work in the past 2-3 months and the result is here.
Earlier in the day, Ireland lost their way after a solid start. Their top four batsmen all got going, but none could play an innings like Shah. They lost their last 7 wickets for 59 runs and that's where the match was lost. Rashid Khan was once again the tormentor. The leggie picked up 4 wickets and took his series tally to 16.
A clinical run chase from Afghanistan. They showed real maturity in hunting down the target. It was not all easy as Ireland were disciplined with the ball and got the openers out cheaply. Rahmat Shah and Stanikzai steadied the ship with a 73-run stand. After that, it was the Shah-Shenwari show. Shah paced his innings to perfection - started slowly and gained momentum once he was set, while Shenwari kept the scoreboard ticking with singles and twos. The duo were involved in an unbeaten 133-run partnership. An association that took Afghanistan over the line.
Dockrell to Rahmat, SIX, Afghanistan win by 7 wickets. The centurion finishes it off in style. He has his hands aloft to celebrate the victory. The rest of his team mates run onto the ground. Congratulate the two batsmen before shaking hands with the Ireland team. Shah dances down the wicket, gets to the pitch of the ball and lofts it handsomely straight down the ground. Cleared the rope quite easily
Dockrell to Shenwari, 1 run, quicker, fuller and outside off, Shenwari lofts on the bounce to long-off
Dockrell to Shenwari, FOUR, one hit away now. Bit of flight given by Dockrell, brave especially at this stage. Shenwari clears his front leg and thumps it over the bowler's head for a one bounce four
Dockrell to Shenwari, no run, flighted outside off, Shenwari misses the slog sweep. He was undone by the lack of bounce
George Dockrell [9.0-0-47-1] is back into the attack

Murtagh to Shenwari, 1 run, back of a length on off, punched down to long-on
Murtagh to Rahmat, 1 run, he wants to finish it. Goes for an ugly hoick and the leading edge drops safely into the off-side ring. It was wide of the point fielder
Murtagh to Rahmat, 2 runs, second ODI hundred for Rahmat Shah. A superb innings in an important game. He chuffed to bits. Punches the air with the bat. Takes his helmet off and raises his bat to acknowledge the applause. Everyone are on their feet appreciating the knock. Coming to the ball: Short and outside off, Shah waits and cuts it late towards third man. Bit of work to do and he sprints back for the second
Murtagh to Shenwari, 1 run, back of a length on off, hammered down the wicket and the umpire gets in the way, the ball deflects off the boot towards mid-wicket
Murtagh to Shenwari, no run, makes room and goes hard on the drive, mistimes to the left of Murtagh
