Pakistan got their batting sorted today. The bowling has always been there. They look a formidable unit should they execute like the way they did today. Australia need to get their batting right. Short has to find a way to score on tough pitches. Is there a case for Carey to bat up the order? They certainly need to take pressure off skipper Finch. It will be interesting to see their team combination tomorrow when they take on Zimbabwe before the final against Pakistan. Join us for all the action at 10:00 local time. Goodbye!

Sarfraz: "The pitch was not easy to bat on, so credit to Fakhar Zaman for the way he played. It's not easy to play on the rise. Credit to our bowlers as well. Asif Ali is a great addition to our team. The way Shaheen, and the others too, bowled was very good."

Fakhar Zaman (Man of the Match): "Probably my best innings. We were not getting good starts with the bat, so today we tried and got it. We were expecting more bouncers and we were ready. Our bowling was very good."

Finch: "I don't think we got going all day. I thought it was a 170 wicket. A really disappointing day for us. Pakistan stuck to basic plans with the ball and bowled well. Hopefully we can turn them over on Sunday."

Pakistan had a good outing with the bat and they started off very well with the ball too. Australia weren't allowed to break free in the powerplay and they could never get going eventually. Shaheen got one to jag back into Finch to surprise him. Short ate too many deliveries and put pressure on the rest of the batsmen. The four Pakistani pacers were very good and Shadab was obviously pretty tough to handle with his variations. Australia have missed a chance to become No. 1 in T20Is. An undefeated series would have put them on top.
