Pakistan continue to have a good run in the T20Is. They have hardly lost anything in the shortest format since WT20 2016. No wonder, they are ranked number one in the world. They were blown away by Stanlake when these two sides met for the first time in the series. Post that, the Pakistan batting stepped up - courtesy Fakhar Zaman, who amassed 278 runs this series. Australia, on the other hand, still don't have balanced team. Still over-dependent on Finch. An improved performance when compared to the England series. Still a long way to go though! It's time to say goodbye. We'll be back for the 5-match ODI series between Zimbabwe and Pakistan. For now, you can switch tabs to follow the build-up of the England-India final T20I.

Sarfraz collects the trophy and joins his team-mates who pose for the photographs. All smiles.

Sarfraz: It was a great team effort. Credit to the bowlers, the way they finished. Fakhar Zaman and Malik did the job for us. There were a couple of drop catches and misfielding. In the end, we bowled really well. If you talk about chasing 180+ in the final, it's not an easy task. Fakhar Zaman has been playing well in the series. If you are number 1, there's pressure to retain it. Credit to the boys and team management. We played really good cricket. Looking forward to those matches (ODI series against Zimbabwe). Hopefully we will try our level best.

Fakhar Zaman, Man of the Match and Man of the Series: I like these pitches. I was in form from the first game. In 2016, the wickets weren't good. This time the pitch has been excellent for batting. I tried my best and succeeded. (Key to success) Hardwork in nets, take your time early and then play natural game. We lost two wickets, I told (Malik) I'll play my natural game as 180 is a big score. Even Australia played very well and congratulations to our team for winning.

Finch: I thought we should have got around 200. When you are losing wickets at the end of the innings, you are probably 5-10 runs short. Pakistan played well. We started well with the ball. Zaman played a helluva knock. A 90-odd in a T20 game. It is hard to beat most of the times. We love coming here. People who have come out to support, can't thank Zimbabwe enough.

Undoubtedly, Fakhar Zaman was Pakistan's hero with the bat today. Losing two partners early in the innings, he didn't lose his focus. He took the Aussie bowlers to the cleaners. His third fifty in this tri-series. He missed his maiden T20I ton by 9 runs, but his knock proved to be the difference. Zaman didn't fire in one game, and that was the only match Pakistan lost in this series.

13:21 Local Time, 11:21 GMT, 16:51 IST: This is Pakistan's highest successful chase in T20Is. They chase down Australia's 183 with four balls to spare. Sarfraz is pumped! Fist-pumps in delight after the winning runs were hit. Pakistan, in their chase, lost two wickets in the opening over of the innings to Maxwell. The exciting 45-run stand between Fakhar Zaman and Sarfraz was cut short by a run-out. That's when Pakistan's most experienced player joined his team's most consistent batsman of the series. Shoaib Malik took seven balls to open his account, but played a key role by playing second fiddle to the southpaw. Asif Ali, in the end, applied pressure on himself with a couple of loose strokes, but scored a massive six and the winning four to finish off the match.
