Bangladesh won by 10 runs

What a game! Another humdinger which Bangladesh have managed to win. The progression in this series has been meteoric for the hosts. This will boost their confidence many manifolds ahead of the T20 WC. And this losing habit that Australia have cultivated might come back to haunt them during the mega event later this year. Both the teams are without a few star players but that hasn't taken the sheen away from the series. Some impeccable cricket has been played and Bangladesh have managed a series win. This red letter day in their cricketing history will be etched forever. On that historic note, we hope our feasty narrative hasn't twinged your nerve cells much. This is Kumar Abhisekh Das saying bye bye in the company of MS Ramakrishnan and Harish.
Mahmudullah, Player of the Match: Boys stood up during important times. It was incredible to see the boys fight today. When me and Shakib were batting, we wanted to bat till the 16th or 17th over as we thought it wouldn't be easy for the new batter. We focussed on our process today and held it together. When we were about to enter the field, I wanted Shakib to have a word. All the bowlers did their homework. Mustafizur was brilliant tonight. We had a chat in Zimbabwe that we need to step up as we think we are a balanced side. We are a pretty decent side than the ranking suggests. We just need to be sensible while executing our skills.
Matthew Wade: Bowling has been really good, They have kept us in the game. We didn't take our opportunity with the bat. Very disappointing. We know their overs have been challenging at the end our innings on these slow wickets. When the rate goes up to 8 on these wickets, it becomes very challenging. It is tough to close out the innings on these wickets. Funny game, it is. Nathan (Ellis) bowled well to get that.
22:50 Local Time, 16:50 GMT, 22:20 IST: Australia have been defeated again. This will be a tough one to swallow. They needed 128 on this sluggish wicket and despite being in the hunt, they have frittered it away. Mitch Marsh once again raised his hand but didn't get another hand from the other end. His dismissal towards the later stages almost tilted the game in favour of Bangladesh. Ben McDermott did try to show some application but his slowish 35 didn't help much. Bangladesh had the Fizz! His four overs went for only 9 runs and that almost handicapped the visitors for four of the 20 overs available to them. Bangladesh were a little sloppy on the field but their bowling once again was top notch. Earlier, Mahmudullah anchored the hosts and helped them topple the 125 mark. Ideally, they would have loved 135 plus but even 128 looked a lot to chase down. The One-upmanship show from the hosts have helped them scale their first ever series win against Australia in any format. Hang on for the presentations.

Mahedi Hasan
3-0-29-0
Mahedi Hasan to Christian, 1 run, flogged across the line and a single has been nabbed! Bangladesh take an unassailable lead of 3-0 against Australia. First time that Bangladesh have managed to pick up three consecutive wins against Australia in any format. They jump into a huddle. The delegates are chuffed as well. Historic moment for the young turks of Bangladesh
Mahedi Hasan to Christian, no run, squeezes the ball out into the off-side and that is a dot ball. They are going berserk. A handful of supporters at the ground and they are going bananas. 12 off 1 ball ain't happening
Mahedi Hasan to Carey, 1 run, brilliant from the young one! Fired in the yorker and the best that Carey could get was a leg bye as he missed the clip. That was some zen like calmness from Mahedi Hasan to deliver that yorker. 12 needed now
Mahedi Hasan to Christian, no ball, 1 run, and some spice added. The high full toss slips out of the hands of the bowler. Christian mistimes the pull behind square for a single. 13 needed now. Carey will be on strike. 3 balls to go
Mahedi Hasan to Christian, no run, fuller ball and slammed back. The bowler fumbled but they failed to get a single. Christian has played so many dots!
Mahedi Hasan to Carey, 1 run, and very well done by Mahedi Hasan as he tosses it up and Carey mistimes the slog sweep into the on-side for a single. Got it off the inside edge into the on-side. 15 needed now
Mahedi Hasan to Carey, SIX, 22 needed. Nope. 16 needed now as that short ball was slammed over wide long-on. Much needed hit under pressure. Have they gambled wrong here? Sarkar would have been a better choice I feel. Carey was sitting back and thumped it big
Mahedi Hasan [2.0-0-18-0] is back into the attack

Mustafizur Rahman
4-0-9-0
Mustafizur to Christian, no run, and brilliant from the keeper who saves that inside edge by diving to his left. That was a fuller ball, Christian got the inside edge for the ball to be squeezed past the sticks but was well kept by the keeper. Only one off the over
Mustafizur to Christian, no run, slower, slanted across, Christian misses it again. This is artistry. This is puppetry actually.
Mustafizur to Christian, no run, brilliant! That's the only word that comes to my mind. Christian looks to slog it away and misses. The ball might have taken the edge but landed well short of the keeper
Mustafizur to Christian, no run, this man is perhaps one of the hardest to deal with on these sluggish wickets. Christian danced down but the cutter from Mustafizur got the better of the batter. Bowled it into the wicket off a back of a length spot and Christian couldn't get it off the square
Mustafizur to Carey, 1 run, jumps at a shortish wide ball to get it away into the covers for a single
These five balls might as well decide the fate of the game. Australia would need at least 8 if not more.
Mustafizur to Carey, no run, slower delivery outside off, Carey looks to slog sweep and misses

Shoriful Islam
4-0-29-2
Shoriful Islam to Christian, FOUR, and a lucky boundary ensures there is hope for Australia. That was a slower delivery, Christian looks to pull and gets it off the top-edge to send it over the keeper. 11 runs off that over. 23 needed now
