So that's a wrap of proceedings. With this T20 series, Australia will have lost whatever rustiness if it was ever there. The teams now move to Manchester for a three-match ODI series, thereby concluding Southampton's summer of international cricket. Australia will have scores to settle in the 50-over format. Finch did say they enjoy the English rivalry. Join us on the journey this Friday for the first ODI. See you all!

Moeen Ali thought Eoin Morgan would collect the trophy, but they ask him to take it. He calls Morgan before he could stand behind the winners board.

Moeen Ali | England captain: Proud moment when I was told I was going to captain the side, but sad we didn't win. We got a slow start, the wicket wasn't easy, a bit unusual for us to start slow. We were poor in the field. We would have won if we fielded well, but we just got to learn from these things. Buttler has changed the way we are playing.

Aaron Finch | Australia captain: We know where we messed up in the first game. We played good cricket for most parts and didn't finish well, but today we were good. We need to improve against spin and in the middle overs. It's nice when you are getting closer to your best, but disappointed to lose the series. We are fairly confident of our structure for the T20 format. We have had a great rivalry with England in the one-day format too. We are still well placed for the T20 World Cup.

Mitchell Marsh | Player of the Match It was nice to contribute. Crunch time of the game, I got a bit of luck with the dropped chance. I do like pace on the ball. My focus today was to do my role for the team and get the win.

21:23 Local Time, 20:23 GMT, 01:53 IST: Relief in the Australian camp. The fielding turned out to be the difference between the sides today. Australia's catching was exceptional, the ground fielding was spot on too, but England spilled catches, the throws were wide and a few fumbles too. Chasing 146, Australia raced to 16/0 off Archer's first over with Finch nailing a pull shot and Wade playing an outrageous pick up shot. It seemed like Australia would cruise to victory but Rashid turned the game on its head accounting for Finch, Maxwell and Smith. Marsh should have been dismissed by part-timer Denly. He couldn't play the spinners or when pacers took pace off. Wood offered pace on the ball in the 16th over to concede 14 runs and get Australia back on top. Agar played a handy knock just nudging the ball around in gaps.
