That concludes proceedings from Raipur. The fifth and final T20I of this series is going to be in the Garden City on Sunday. Do remember to join us for that one. Expect a belter of a surface and a high-scoring thriller, fingers crossed!! Cheers and good night!!

Axar Patel | Player of the Match: I was trying a lot of things when I was at home and it came out well today. I tried to stick to my strengths and wasn't really bothered even I had gotten hit and bowling stump-to-stump was the key to negate the dew factor. To stay attacking and be mentally strong is important as there is every chance to get hit in this format. When you go with an attitude to pick wickets, will feel much better. During the (injury) break I focussed on improving myself and add new variations to my bowling to remain successful at the highest level.

Suryakumar Yadav | Indian skipper: Other than toss, everything (went well). Boys showed character and that was most important for us. We spoke in the meeting before the game to go out and express yourself and be fearless. I always love putting Axar under pressure and the way he bowled was unbelievable. The plan (during the death overs) was to go for the yorkers and then see what happens.

Matthew Wade | Australian skipper: We just didn't play spin very well, lost a few little too wickets in the middle as well. The guys came in did a good job but unfortunately we couldn't do the job with the bat. Just to continue to learn from the guys who are already established in the team and to have depth in the squad is really key as the T20 World Cup is round the corner.

Ravi Bishnoi - I have been getting opportunities to bowl well for the team. It was another chance today to bowl well and win the game for India. I am very happy with my bowling, touchwood, I'll keep performing this way in the future. We have a lot of youngsters in the team, everyone are performing well and enjoying each other's company. I've worked with him, he keeps encouraging me and asks me to keep bowling consistently irrespective of the match situation (on Sairaj Bahutule, India's bowling coach).

22:32 local, 17:02 GMT, 22:32 IST: 162 was the highest successfully chased target in T20s at this venue and that record remains intact. Australia got off to a flier with Travis Head smashing at 200 and offering a solid score in the powerplay while at it. Unfortunately for them, only Wade managed to strike in excess of 120 while the rest struggled to get going against the spin duo of Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi. They combined to produce an excellent spell 33/4 in the 8 overs. Chahar too made an excellent comeback as he picked up the key wickets of Tim David and Matt Short during crucial junctures. He conceded 29 off his first 2 overs and then kept it tight by picking 2/15 in his final 2. All in all, there wasn't as much dew and the odd ball kept low to keep the spinners excited during the middle overs. It's the first international T20 at this venue and the Raipur fans couldn't have asked for a better spectacle...
