PLAYER OF THE MATCH : Pat Cummins
Batter
Bowler
That's it from this one. We will be back with the last game on Sunday the 25th of February at the same venue. Do join us then. Till then take care and be well. Bye.
Pat Cummins | Player of the Match: I will take this. Always enjoyed batting especially in this format, give it a bit of a swing and few came off the edges and flew to the boundary but I will take it. I do most of the times, especially here when you are looking for sixes and fours and feels like you have got bit more of a license. I love it. Go and hide on the boundary, haven't fielded on the boundary for a while, just concentrate on bowling and nothing else. He has done a fantastic job. Not too much different but it's a nice little change. The wicket helped tonight, had a little bit in it and everyone had a good night, and all of them seemed to come off. A bit sideways although I have played here a few times and it has not been the same result.
22:23 Local Time, 09:23 GMT, 14:53 IST: Superb bowling show from Australia and they win the series 2-0 with a game to spare. The total of 174 proved way too much for this New Zealand outfit missing Ravindra and Conway through injury. Hazlewood at the top was relentless with his hard lengths and gave nothing away. He suffocated the batters and then the others chipped in. Zampa came in for punishment in his first over but he came back well to take a four-fer. For New Zealand the lack of depth showed in the batting as Santner came at 3. Only Phillips made a contribution with 42 but his wicket was the final nail in the coffin. The pitch at Eden Park rewarded the hard back of a length, into the wicket and Australia mastered it today with their seamers. Stay tuned for the presentation...
