We had a decent day in Fantasy with our differential player, Heinrich Klaasen, becoming the difference between the two teams. The tour winds up with a day game at Johannesburg on Sunday, the last ODI for South Africa before the World Cup starts. The momentum is with the hosts and they'll look to seal the series at the Bull-Ring. Australia had a tough day at the office today, but there's still a lot to play for on Sunday. Do join us for all the action. For now, cheers and bye..
Aiden Markram: Quite a few special performances. I don't think you can't look past Klaasie's. Must-win game and to deliver something as exceptional as that speaks character and the type of the player he is. Great partnership with David to set the game for us. It was always a tough chase for them. As the series has gone on, we've improved game by game. To get through the powerplay like they did, was really good to see. It's about sticking to your standards. Lot of positives with the ball as well. You don't want to take the ball out of someone's hand if he's bowling nicely but you don't want him to get lined up either. It's a fresh start again on Sunday. We set high standards. Sunday is an opportunity for us to string the perfect game.
Heinrich Klaasen | Player of the Match: I am trying to take everything in. It's a special day, you try to take in everything. I can't remember a lot of the innings, have to go back and probably watch it tonight. The wicket looked a little bit slow, they bowled in incredible areas. We just spoke about taking it to the 35th over and then see what happens. It got a little bit better and they went off that area and we cashed in. The ball travels nicely, we knew we could make some big damage. It's also nice batting with David, he takes a lot of pressure off you. It was just a normal partnership for us. We thought about 320-odd and then it became 380 and then it became 400. The coach has been asking for that. The fans are incredible here, grew up at this venue, they look after me very nicely. It's amazing for me to be here.
Mitchell Marsh: That's the definition of a tough day at the office. Klaasen was just amazing today. It was a tough day. We were put under a lot of pressure towards the back end there. Hats off to Heinrich. We were one or two wickets away from putting pressure on them. We couldn't get that breakthrough. We didn't have too many options to go to. We would have been happy with 300-350. The ball just travels here and the outfield was lightning. We needed a couple of big partnerships, lost few wickets early and the game was done. It was great to see Carey get some runs. It's great for our team, he's really important for us.
Australia batters dismissed for 99 in ODIs
Matthew Hayden vs India, Bengaluru, 2001
Adam Gilchrist vs Sri Lanka, Centurion, CWC 2003
David Warner vs Sri Lanka, Colombo RPS, 2022
Alex Carey vs South Africa, Centurion, 2023
Three Australia batters - Dean Jones, Brad Hodge and Michael Clarke - have remained unbeaten on 99 in ODIs.
20:12 Local Time, 18:12 GMT, 23:42 IST: Head will not come to bat once again, but Australia will hope that his injury ain't serious. His all-round game could be so crucial at the #CWC2023 in India, starting in 3 weeks time. But tonight, South Africa have won by 164 runs and have levelled the series at 2-2. Today was all about Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller. Rassie van der Dussen laid the platform with a fine 62, but it was the carnage in the last 20 overs that really defined today's match. The ball flew around at the Highveld and the Australian bowling attack suddenly looked toothless. Hazlewood, Stoinis, Ellis and Neser went for runs, but the harshest treatment was reserved for poor Adam Zampa, who equalled fellow Australian Mick Lewis's figures of 0 for 113, the worst-ever figures by a bowler in ODIs. Lewis's figures came against this very opposition, a few miles north of Centurion, way back in 2006. South Africa's 416 for 5, the highest score at this ground, had left Australia shell-shocked. They did come all guns firing, but they kept losing wickets and ended well short. The only interest being Carey's 100, but the wicket-keeper was cruelly denied the personal milestone by a single run. The teams move to Johannesburg for the final ODI with the hosts in high spirits and the visitors sweating on another major injury concern.
Rabada to Carey, out Caught by de Kock!! Oh dear! A resigned DRS call from Carey, but he knows he's gloved it. Heartbreak for Carey, OUT for 99 - banged in short and at the body, he was cramped for room on the pull, was through with the shot early and the ball lobbed off the glove - de Kock was initially going to his right, he changes direction, sprints and then throws himself with his left hand, gloves a corker and DRS does the rest. Carey c de Kock b Rabada 99(77) [4s-9 6s-4]
Rabada to Carey, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Rabada to Carey, 2 runs, slower short ball from Rabada, swatted away in front of square on the on-side - Carey runs hard and comes back for the second, gets to 99*
Rabada to Hazlewood, 1 run, short of a good length and just outside off, dropped in front of point and they're off for a quick single
Josh Hazlewood, left handed bat, comes to the crease
Rabada to Zampa, out Caught by de Kock!! Appeal for caught behind and South Africa review, de Kock was convinced, Rabada wasn't so sure, but they do review just in time and UltraEdge shows a big spike when the ball is next to the bat - Zampa is OUT and SA are one wicket away from squaring the series at 2-2. On a good length and well wide of off, Zampa backed away on the swing and got a toe-end through to the keeper. Zampa c de Kock b Rabada 9(11) [4s-1]
Rabada to Zampa, THATS OUT!! Caught!!
Rabada to Carey, 1 run, banged in short and at the stumps, pulled down to long leg for a single
Ngidi is walking off the field to a raucous round of applause

Ngidi to Zampa, 1 run, short of a good length and at the stumps, Zampa plays away from his body and gets an inside edge to square leg
