That's it from this one. Australia have gone 1-0 up in the series with two matches to go. The next game is tomorrow. We'll see you then. Goodbye!

Finch, Australia captain: We've had a similar group for quite a period of time. The guys all know their roles. It's just about giving them confidence. With the ball when Josh is bowling consistent lengths, we know how hard it is to face that. SL played well in the powerplay, and we were able to control the middle overs. Was nice to get a few, have a good partnership with Davey there. They bowled well in the first couple of overs. Theekshana has been giving us problems for a while now. But it was a good performance.

Shanaka, SL captain: It's a day everything went wrong. First game of the series, hoping we'll have better days. Batters will definitely come with a plan in the next game. We got a strong side, matter of one win.

Hazlewood, Player of the Match: It's obviously quite hot here, quite sweaty. Wicket is slow, but you can use that to your advantage. The new ball flew off the bat a little bit, and we dragged it back (length). Have been working hard on my T20 game. Playing a lot of it. And we saw that tonight.

23:09 Local Time, 17:39 GMT, 23:09 IST: Australia get home with six overs to spare. They've crushed Sri Lanka in this first T20I by 10 wickets as Finch and Warner get the job done after a lovely bowling display led by Josh Hazlewood. Things fell apart for Sri Lanka as they suffered a big collapse, going from 100/1 to 128 all out after being put in to bat. It left little for their bowlers to defend, and the opening pair of Warner and Finch closed the door pretty quickly. Hazlewood was just superb today, returning figures of 4/16 - three of them coming in one over to derail the Sri Lankan innings.
