Australia just had to dust off yesterday's performance because they were ahead of the game for most parts, but today is a stinker. Mitch Marsh at 3 is the only thing that's working for them in the batting. The mix of experience and youth isn't working very well at the moment. They need the day off tomorrow to reflect and repair. West Indies are obviously on a high and if you manage a come-from-behind win of Friday's kind the team starts to believe like never before. Pollard would hope the break between games helps his recovery and his return would further strengthen the side. We will be back with you all for Monday's third T20I. Take care!
Nic Pooran | winning captain - Thank my coaches for giving me the chance to lead the team. My record at winning tosses isn't good, but we knew we wanted to bat first, just wanted to post runs on the board. It was nice to see Hetty respond after last night. Batting was an issue, but it was pleasing the way they responded tonight. Dwayne asked the question to Polly and it made sense. It was important to have a right-left combination going and hence I pulled myself back a bit, it was important to keep the partnership going, with the wind factor, we knew if we kept wickets in hand, we could go hard. No information on him as yet, I'll check on him later (on Edwards). We know how passionate Fabian is, he is working hard on his craft. Someone like Hayden Walsh, he works hard day in and out, nice to see him doing well
Aaron Finch | Losing captain: The wicket didn't change throughout, it played pretty well. When your two openers get out early, it puts a lot of pressure on the middle order. 100-plus partnership between Hetmyer and Bravo proved to be the difference. It's always tough to bowl to left-right combination, especially with the wind blowing like that. We will look to comeback well. Need to win 3 more games to win the series, we will keep working hard.
Shimron Hetmyer | Player of the Match - One of my best innings for me, was hitting quite well, it quite worked out, my role is to bat as deep as possible. I didn't do anything different, just did the same thing like last game, the partnerships were important. Was looking to bat deep and give the gutsy a chance to bat at the other end. I'm trying to bat well and finish off the innings as well. I have never batted with him before, nice to bat with him, he was just telling me to keep going and do what I did best. Allowed me to trust myself.
22:50 Local Time, 02:50 GMT, 08:20 IST: If it was 38/7 yesterday, it's 39/7 today. Absolutely poor display of batting from Australia and no wonder it's the first time they have been bowled out in successive T20Is since 2010. West Indies inched ahead by getting 15 runs above par with the bat and their bowlers began with a bang. Cottrell got Wade for a silver duck and Finch's dismissal was a bowler's delight. Edwards got a full toss dipping on the Aussie skipper, completely deceiving him to rattle the stumps. Scenes of Bravo v Yuvraj, 2006 sprung to mind. Australia said they had a plan to bat aggressively in the middle overs yesterday, but they have failed miserably twice in two days. Hayden Walsh struggled for control in his first over, but bowled a beauty to get rid of Philippe. He added two more to his tally and Australia could not handle the variations of the West Indies bowlers. Worrying times ahead for Langer and Co. Need to show some fight in the remaining three games.
Gayle to Hazlewood, out Bowled!! Big heave and he misses! That's it for West Indies. They go 2-0 up with three games to go. Full and fast from round the wicket, Hazlewood loses shape on the slog and misses the ball completely. Ball hits middle. Hazlewood b Gayle 4(2) [4s-1]
Gayle to Hazlewood, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!
