Bangladesh have been steamrolled here in less than three days. It is a kind of pounding that can give the losing team sleepless nights. It is a kind of defeat that can leave the teams confidence in tatters. And it is a kind of loss that would not motivate you to play another match. But Bangladesh ain't going anywhere. They will have to combat this Indian team once more. And one would believe, they will have to go through that agony once more. It's hard not to have sympathy for them but Test cricket doesn't allow any sympathy and this ruthless Indian team doesn't allow it too. They have added another sixty points in the Test Championship and are stationed at the top spot by some margin. Let's hope the change in colour of the ball would change the fortunes of Bangladesh. Until the maiden Test match under lights in Kolkata, this is Varun Dixit signing off on behalf of Pradeep Krishnamurthy, Kumar Abhisekh Das, Sriram AS and our scorer Venky. Good bye and take care!
Mayank Agarwal, Man of the Match: I hope the smiles continue for longer and longer. I do practise six-hitting but not during the Tests. It's a dream come true for me to represent the country. I am very glad for the start that I got. It's great to have somebody like Virat who can motivate you like that. When I got my first 150, Virat was at the other end and he told me that nothing short of 200 would do. We played three sessions under lights back in Bangalore. Rahul Dravid had arranged that for us. It was a good experience. Looking forward to playing the pink ball Test match.
Virat Kohli (2/2): Our focus is to take the Indian cricket higher and higher. The motivation and the intent is right and we don't care about the numbers. The motivation has been right, the intent has been right and we are going to keep pushing in that direction. I know the importance of getting big scores, I took a lot of time so I wanted him to score big. So as a senior batsman I wanted to make sure that he stayed focused. I don't want the guys to make the same mistakes that I made. The pink ball does a lot early on, more than the red ball. The pink ball Test is going to be exciting. It's going be a landmark event for Indian cricket and Indian Test cricket. The crowd over the last three days have been brilliant. It gives the players extra motivation to go out and put that extra effort.
Virat Kohli (1/2): I don't really know what to say. Clinical performances all around. The team is playing really well. I can't say something which people are not seeing on TV (Talking about the good performance). Fast bowlers are at the top of their game. It looks like a different pitch when they bowl. Right now, Jasprit is not a part of the attack. So, when he comes back it will be a one heck of an attack to counter. It's a dream bowling combination for any skipper. Even the slip fielders are ready as they know the ball can come any over, having strong bowlers is the most important thing. The numbers and the records are there for everyone to see.
Mominul Haque: I thought it was a challenging decision (Toss). Abu Jayed and Mushy are the positives for us in this Test match. Liton also batted well. It was very challenging for the top-order batsmen, they have a great bowling attack. We will look to enjoy the next pink ball Test match.
Shami: The more we get tired, the better fun we have. We push each other. We try to enjoy each other's success. There are certain things I cannot even say. Given his (Umesh) power, all the boundaries in India are smaller. We don't have restrictions as batters. The team management has given us freedom. We try to bat sensibly though when there is a batter at the other end. I have been empowered by the skipper and the coach. I bowl alongside Ishant and Umesh as well. That makes it easier for me. I focus on my length and have been able to execute it well.
Umesh: I learnt from my father in my childhood to be strong. He made me run a lot. I try to maintain the strength. Earlier, the new ball was doing a lot for pacers. We know our strengths. We try to take wickets with the new ball and make it easier for spinners. My batting coach and skipper tell me to enjoy my batting. Kohli told me to bat quickly in the last Test against SA. I try to deliver whatever is expected of me.
Ishant Sharma: I am not treated as a senior, we don't have anything like that. We always enjoy each other's success, speak with each other and try and share our plans. It's difficult to explain (his bowling renaissance), I have played quite a lot, I'm 31 (laughs), the bowling is taking a toll on my body, but I'm enjoying it, trying out different variations. Shami has played with the pink ball, need to ask him for a few tips (a few jokes around).
15:38 Local Time, 10:08 GMT, 15:38 IST: India have absolutely pounded Bangladesh here at Indore. The visitors won the toss and were audacious enough to bat first on a green-top. And soon it proved be a blunder as Indian new ball bowlers had a whale of a time in the middle and bowled out Bangladesh for an embarrassing score of 150. India lost their superstars Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma cheaply but Mayank Agarwal saw that as an opportunity, he rose to the occasion again and added to the misery of Bangladesh with a stellar double-hundred. India decided to declare overnight with a healthy lead of 343 runs. And with three full days still left, Bangladesh were never in contention to even draw this match. The Indian seamers, especially Mohammed Shami bowled a spell to remember before the lunch break. And the Indian skipper didn't even require the spinners in the first session today. The visitors were four down at the lunch break and they were staring down the barrel. Mushy then came up with a fighting effort of 64 which delayed the inevitable for sometime. After tea, Umesh Yadav and Ashwin finished off the proceedings and India eased to an innings victory. Hang around for the presentations.

Ashwin to Ebadat Hossain, out Caught by U Yadav!! Umesh Yadav takes a tumbling catch and India's unprecedented victory run at home continues! They win by a massive margin of innings and 130 runs to go 1-0 up in the series. It was a flighted delivery, Ebadat Hossain was enticed by it and went after it by coming down the track. He miscues it horribly, Yadav goes back from mid-on and takes a fine catch. He dives after taking it to make it look a little dramatic. Ebadat Hossain c U Yadav b Ashwin 1(3)

Shami to Abu Jayed, no run, swing and a miss. Length delivery just wide of off, Abu Jayed heaves at in a typical number-10 fashion, ends up missing it by a long long way
